I have three boys who do track and cross country. The oldest and youngest are middle-distance runners, and the middle one is the sprinter and jumper. They keep us busy throughout the year, training up to six days a week and traveling throughout Southern California and to multiple states for national events.
Their lives might be very different were it not for the countless coaches, parents, and volunteers who have given up their precious time to provide the best environment for today's youth. We are grateful to them, and they are the reason OneBaton exists.
Volunteers manage registration, waivers, volunteer coordination, potlucks, scheduling, meet declarations, meet call sheets, announcements, and much more using disparate systems; some cost money, and some do not.
We built this system for the parents, volunteers, and coaches. We built it for ourselves, and our sons. We do not expect OneBaton to be the most widely used app out there, but we do expect it to streamline workflows, and solve problems for non-profit organizations (ourselves), giving parents, volunteers and coaches more time to spend with the young athletes.
